About the Jacob Sheep Breed

We’re excited to share that we occasionally have stunning purebred Jacob sheep available! These wonderful sheep not only help us keep grasses in check for fire safety, but they also provide delicious meat and gorgeous wool for our family. We sell extra lambs or adult sheep to enhance our Jacob sheep bloodline, ensuring they stay purebred and registered. These unique animals are known for their striking wool colors, gorgeous multi horns, lean meat and fascinating history dating back to Genesis in the bible.

Age to Register Lambs with JSBA

Ewes 3 months old and Rams 6 months old

Our Sheep get shorn the first part of the year before lambing

What we feed?

Lambs are on Creep Feed,  everyone else eats orchard/alfalfa, loose mineral, browse weeds on our property to help with fire prevention.

How often do we Deworm?

Once a month for Lambs,  Adults Spring and Fall

When are Lambs Born

We try to have the lambs born in May

What Vx are used?

Vaccinate with CDT

All Sheep Receive a Scapies Tag
